EnduroEdge Terms of Use

Effective date: 1 April 2026. These terms are structured for the EnduroEdge beta and commercial platform and should be reviewed by South African legal counsel before full public launch.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the EnduroEdge platform, including the website, athlete workspace, Pro Coach workspace, training console, reports, analytics, AI coaching features, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, the user agrees to these terms.

2. EnduroEdge service scope

EnduroEdge provides an endurance coaching platform that may include AI-generated recommendations, coach-driven workflows, structured training plans, device integrations, race intelligence, analytics, messaging, and athlete-management tools. EnduroEdge is a coaching technology platform and not a medical provider, emergency service, or healthcare practice.

3. Accounts and access

Users must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and use the platform only for lawful purposes. Athlete, coach, admin, and master access levels may differ. EnduroEdge may suspend or terminate access where there is misuse, fraud, unauthorised access, non-payment, or conduct that threatens the platform or other users.

4. Athlete and coach relationships

Where a coach links to an athlete, the athlete authorises the platform to share training-related information with that coach for coaching purposes. Athletes may delink a coach through the platform where that functionality is provided. Coaches must only use athlete information for legitimate coaching and platform use.

5. AI coaching and training guidance

EnduroEdge may generate AI-assisted coaching content, workout explanations, projections, and chat responses. These outputs are intended to support endurance training decisions but may not always be complete, accurate, or appropriate for every athlete. Users remain responsible for exercising judgment, especially where symptoms, injury, illness, chest pain, dizziness, or other health concerns are involved.

6. No medical advice

EnduroEdge does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency advice. Users should consult a suitably qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing a training programme and should seek immediate medical attention where required.

7. Payments, plans, and beta access

Certain features are available only on paid plans or approved beta access. EnduroEdge may offer access codes, complimentary beta access, promotional entitlements, or restricted features during testing. Paid access, renewals, promotional terms, and refunds will be governed by the commercial offer presented at the time of purchase.

8. Beta participation and early release features

EnduroEdge may make certain features, tools, dashboards, AI coaching outputs, integrations, reports, and training functions available in beta, early access, pilot, or test form. By using any beta version of the platform, the user acknowledges that beta features may contain bugs, incomplete functionality, inaccurate outputs, interruptions, or performance issues; EnduroEdge may change, suspend, remove, or reset beta features at any time; users must apply judgment when relying on AI-generated outputs; users should not publicly share non-public beta materials, internal product details, unpublished pricing, or private access methods without EnduroEdge’s consent; EnduroEdge may collect usage information, bug reports, and feedback to improve the platform; and beta features are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Devices, third-party services, and exports

EnduroEdge may integrate with third-party hardware, wearable services, training platforms, or export formats. Availability, reliability, and compatibility of those integrations may vary. EnduroEdge is not responsible for the policies, outages, or data-handling practices of third-party providers.

10. User content and platform data

Users retain rights in content they upload or input, but grant EnduroEdge the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, display, analyse, and use that content to provide the service. Coaches warrant that they have a lawful basis to process athlete information they upload or manage through the platform.

11. Intellectual property

The EnduroEdge platform, brand, software, visual design, AI workflows, session structures, race intelligence systems, and related materials remain the property of EnduroEdge or its licensors. Users may not reverse engineer, copy, resell, redistribute, or exploit the platform beyond authorised use.

12. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, interfere with service operation, harvest data, impersonate others, or use the AI features for unlawful, abusive, or off-topic purposes outside the platform’s intended coaching use.

13. Disclaimers and liability

EnduroEdge is provided on an as-available basis during beta and commercial operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnduroEdge disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that may not lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

14. Privacy and POPIA

Use of the service is also governed by the EnduroEdge Privacy Notice. EnduroEdge processes personal information in accordance with applicable law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), where applicable.

15. Changes to the platform or terms

EnduroEdge may update features, pricing, integrations, workflows, and these terms from time to time. Where required, material updates will be communicated in-platform or by email.

16. Governing law

These terms are intended to operate under the laws of South Africa unless another mandatory legal framework applies to a user in a way that cannot be excluded.
